Helping a music community app deliver on its promise to take fans backstage with their favorite artists.
Fahlo - an app for music fans, had not gained traction and was in need of a rebrand. Their goal was to relaunch the product with a new look and a multitude of digital features that cut out the middlemen and connected the fans directly to their favorite artist.
We got to work on identifying the key elements of the platform and solving the major challenges around each one - from video content, to branding, to an internal CMS and moderation system - we worked across the entire business, pulling back the curtain and taking music fans backstage with their favorite artists, right from their mobile device.
Each artist had their own special look and feel drawn from an element of the Bkstg branding, enabling us to represent each artist's unique style, but at the same time, sit them all alongside each other as part of the Bkstg family.
We used the backstage pass metaphor as an entry point to a user experience around each artist. Each backstage pass was a ticket to an eye-opening world for the fans where they could watch exclusive videos, be the first to buy limited edition merch or VIP tickets, and connect directly with other fans.
