Coming in from day one, the brief was broad. What should a remote eating disorder clinic even be? How should it communicate with the wider world? How should it look? A strong brand identity embedded both in the product and the website was crucial to build patient trust in a remote setting—professional, welcoming, and nurturing.
We kicked off with a series of workshops to understand the needs of both Within Health’s clinical approach and their patients. Through rapid iteration and prototyping, we shaped a digital strategy that centered around building a strong web presence with a focus on SEO and educational content. This allowed Within Health to establish itself as an authoritative voice in the mental health space while supporting its mission of democratizing care.
The website design needed to reflect the mission; open and welcoming, yet informative and safe. Ideal for patients seeking care and reassurance. We built a solid foundation of flexible components that are re-used throughout dozens of pages to enable the site to scale without the need to call developers at every turn, and lower the design require to retain consistency in the brand.
Webflow was perfect for developing a content-heavy site that was not only visually engaging but also built for scalability. We implemented a powerful CMS that facilitated everything from educational article updates to location-specific treatment directories, ensuring the site could grow alongside their evolving needs.
To establish Within Health as an authoritative voice in the mental health space, we working closely with their content team on specific SEO initiatives.
Building out a library of "article" templates, and working with a third party agency to handle asset creation, enabled the team to produce a growing library of professionally written, medically reviewed articles. Structuring the design, build and URL structure to gain the most SEO benefit while boosting Within's authority has been a key pillar of the organization's organic growth strategy.
Using Webflow's dynamic content capabilities to deliver geo-relevant content across 38 U.S. States has been the perfect marriage of content, SEO and Webflow expertise.
At huge volume (1000s of pages) we worked hand-in-hand to build a workflow to effectively target search queries related to eating disorder treatment in the specific cities Within is licensed to operate. This directory bolstered Within Health’s reach and improved discoverability by patients searching for care in their region.
In a competitive field like mental health, ranking for high-volume search keywords is crucial. Utilizing a skyscraper strategy allowed Within Health to compete for top-ranking positions on valuable search terms, enhancing their visibility and driving substantial organic traffic. Doing this, and running these kind of experiments, without destroying the brand and design values is another matter. Our work on making intelligent design and build decisions enables Within to experiment far more freely than they otherwise could.
Our work with Within's brand doesn't stop at the website. We've led the brand across social media, marketing collateral, and in-person events—ensuring consistency and quality across design formats. A highlight of our collaboration was the Within Summit, a signature event that we supported from its inception. Running for three consecutive years, the Within Summit solidified Within Health’s position as a thought leader in the field of eating disorder care, providing a forum for collaboration and innovation in the industry.
